Reference: DCDL-0007878
Description: Debbie thinks it is a shame that Wellington is not going to be a 'Unesco City of Literature'. Jaimee thinks that the Central Library having a 'Bring your Pet' day and Bill Manhire doing a clog dance in Lambton Quay and Vic's Institute of Modern Letters holding a Jane Austen disco are pretty reasonable but when she is told that every Wellington resident is to be required to read 'The bone people' she decidedly loses interest. The Bone people by Keri Hulme won the prestigious Pegasus prize after having been turned down by a number of publishers. It was eventually published by the Spiral collective in collaboration with English publishing house Hodder & Stoughton. Quantity: 1 digital cartoon(s).
