Description: Contain various printed items, a Mota vocabulary, letters to his parents 1909-1911 describing his voyage to the Pacific, his stay on Norfolk Island, and life as a missionary on Santa Cruz; incoming letters including several in a Melanesian language 1910-1915, lists, drafts of speeches and letters, photographs etc relating to the Melanesian mission. Blencowe went to the Solomon Islands as a missionary in 1909 for three years. Quantity: 1 microfilm reel(s) (ca 380 pages).
