Description: Material related to the archive, book and exhibition projects documenting the work of the Wellington Media Collective dated from 2010 to 2013, and including a box listing created in 2016. The material documents the publication of a book in 2013 through Victoria University Press in conjunction with Wellington Media Collective, and an exhibition at Te Pātaka Toi | Adam Art Gallery from 23 October to 21 December 2012 and from 22 January to 10 February 2013. Both were entitled “We Will Work With You: Wellington Media Collective 1978–1998”. It also includes documentation for the project to catalogue and digitise the graphic works, mainly posters, produced by the Collective, which are now available at the National Library of New Zealand. Description: Shows a reproduction of Bob Kerr's 72 panels of paintings relating to the police expedition to arrest Rua Kenana in 1916. At the bottom is a long panorama of hills in the Tuhoe country. Portraits taken from photographs include those of constables, inspectors and sergeants involved in the search for Rua Kenana. They are all named. The verso gives explanatory text and reproduces several more landscapes in Tuhoe Country and a portrait of Police Commissioner John Cullen. Notes are by Mark Derby. Two copies held.
