Lindsay, Dora, active 1936

Scottish comedienne known as "the female Harry Lauder". She came from Glasgow and performed in pantomime and music hall in Britain. Her grandfather was Louis Lindsay, a Negro impersonator. She also wrote, produced and played in her own productions. She moved to Australia, and visited New Zealand with Long Tack Sam's show in 1936.
