Born in England. Arrived in 1952 to New Zealand. Actress and theatre producer for Mercury Theatre. She appeared in the 1964 film "Runaway". Founded Howick Little Theatre. Wrote solo show "Out of Bondage". In 1978 received an MBE for services to the Theatre and Community. Obituary in the 'New Zealand Herald' 29 Oct 2005, A27.
