Davie, Frank Harman, 1858-1918

Surveyor. Born Christchurch, son of Cyrus Davie (1821-1871). Trained in Canterbury and licensed under Land Transfer Act in 1880. Was in private practice and for a while was in partnership with George Hanmer. Retired in 1911; succeeded by his son, Frank Lewis Davie. Foundation member of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors.
