Description: Annotated copy with Thomas Pavitt's signature of `Intercolonial Convention, Sydney, 1883', printed by Government Printer, Wellington, 1883. Volume also includes newspaper cuttings and a copy of a letter from King Malietoa of Samoa to W B Churchward (23 June 1885) which have been tipped onto the title page. The letter details King Malietoa's request for a treaty to be made between the Governments of Samoa and England like an existing treaty between the Governments of Samoa and Germany.
