A theatrical production unit aiming to bring theatre to small communities. It brought the Strand Theatre Company to Wellington areas ca 1949-50. Story and photograph of members published in NZ Free Lance, 1 Feb 1950 (p 19) - Members were Maurice Gillespie, Michael Cotterill, Lois Mair, Ken Adams, Avril Flockton, Bob Renner, Colleen Rae, Joan Reed, Russell Reed and Mary Hopewell.
