Ford, John Tucker, 1828-1910

Founder of J T Ford & Co, stock and station agents. One of New Zealand's earliest valuers. Eldest son of John Ford (1781-1862) and his second wife Sophia Tucker (1792-1882). Married Eliza Cooke (1834-1917) in 1858. Wrote letter from Haldon on the Selwyn in 1864 and Opawa in 1871
