Description: Programme for a play written by Mrs Jean Hill, for the Rotorua City Celebrations. The play was produced by Nola Millar and the cast included: Athol Wheatcroft, Milton Hughes, Fiona Buchanan, Alison Blanch, Rosemary Scholes, Veronica Cohen, Marjorie Lees, Pearl Painton, Sally Rodwell, Chris Cunningham, Meriol Buchanan, Olive Bennett and John McNaught. The stage designer was Peter Verrall. The front cover shows an illustration of a house under a tree, possibly a pohutukawa. There is a brief introduction by A M Linton, Mayor of Rotorua. One image shows a hand-painted information sign for Maungakaramea, Rainbow Mountain, Bay of Plenty Region which reads "Paora-o-te-pa The echo of the pa".
