Description: Programme for a production of Purcell's "Dido & Aeneas" shows an illustration of a woman with long hair, an eye in the centre of an explosion, and lines suggesting jagged mountains on the front cover. The cast list includes Vicki Vaughan, Paul Kitteridge, Amber Soulsby, Barbara Dyer, Liz Pack, Margaret Kendall, Marilyn Waring, Frances Shone and Greg Mildenhall. The musical director was Gordon Burt, stage production by Judith Dale, costume design by Margaret Ross. Orchestra was led by Bronwyn (Bronwen) Pugh, and the choir by John Bates.
