Description: Drawn on several published maps joined to make one whole map, the principal river catchment areas, marked in green, are prominently named and numbered. These are: Wairoa, Waitakiruru, Piako, Oparau, Waihou, Kaituna, Tarawera, Rangitaiki, Mohaka, Ngaruroro, Rangitiki, Wangaehu, Wanganui, Awakino, Mokau, Marokopa, Awaroa, Oparau and Waikato. Some areas include their total area in sq. miles. The Mokau River, outside of the catchment area, is marked in blue ink which continues up the coastline into the Waikato Region, around the Kawhia Harbour, across to Kakepuku and southwards to link with the Mokau River at Puketutu. Description: Drawn on a traced map, annotations depict watershed (water catchment) areas including sea, major lakes and rivers from the Manukau Harbour south to Lake Taupo, and eastwards to Tauranga and the Rotorua lakes. The boundary of 'Raglan County' is higlighted in brown, and within this the watershed division line is depicted through the county. Each division's acreage is given (291,840 for the eastern side and 307,200 for the western side). Lakes Whangape, Rotongaro and Waahi within Raglan County and Lake Waikare and Kimihia outside it are depicted. Bottom right corner reads:'45'.
