Presbyterian missioner. Corresponded with A P Godber from Presbyterian Maori Mission at Opotiki, Maungapohatu, Ruatahuna, Matahi Station (Waimana, Bay of Plenty), Te Whaiti Presbyterian Maori Boys Farm in 1930s-1940s. In 1918 he was assistant to Reverend John Laughton and taught at Maungapohatu School (at Maungapohatu).
