Description: Shows the central conductor as seen from behind, with the orchestra arranged in front of him. In the background is an organ, probably the organ of the Wellington Town Hall. Date suggested by the donor. The image was used on issues of the periodical "Clef" which started in 1951, but it had originally been drawn some years before, and used as letterhead for the Wellington Symphony Orchestra.
