Description: Survey map depicting Te Kohanga alongside the Waikato River, between Patumahoe survey point and Tikorangi Hill, South Auckland. Shows Kohanga [Anglican] Mission Station, school, site for church, Te Kohanga landing place, Tikirahi landing place, and Kakenga Pa beside large green bush. Depicts surveyed cadastral land, lot number 2 and 3, granted to the Bishop of New Zealand of over 470 acres, of which 144 are swamp, for a school. Right bottom corner of map reads (unsigned): This is not a land claim, 18.10.67. Bottom right hand corner reads: Surveyed by P.?. Hagan, 7th Dec, 1853. Other faint annotations: 'not being a land claim', and that land granted in trust for Raglan School, 'R.A. ?f.d. 319'. Quantity: 1 map(s).
