Purcell, (Lieutenant), 1915-2003, Purcell, (Lieutenant-Colonel), 1915-2003

New Zealand delegate to the SEATO Civil-Military Study Group on Maintenance and Rebuilding Capacities, which met in Bangkok from 1-12 August 1956. Prior to this he was appointed New Zealand Military Liason Officer in Singapore. Member of the 27 (MG) Battalion who was present at the opening of the beer garden at the Burnham Military Camp in 1939.
