Carpenter. Arrived in Wellington with his family on the 'Birman' in 1841. Along with his twelve year old son Andrew, he was killed on his land near Boulcott's Farm in the Hutt Valley by Māori stationed at Porirua in April 1846. Buried in Bolton Street cemetery, Wellington
