Covers farwell visit from his late business partners, John Booth, F Sheppard and William D Wilkie, fire at Denny's hotel and at clothier shop of Mr Poole, a stowaway, fights and quarrels among crew and passengers, kauri cargo being ditched because of ship's leaks.
