Williams, Henry Wynn, 1828-1913

Politician, barrister, solicitor and notary public. Arrived in Wellington in 1855. Formerly of Rhye, North Wales. On stations, practising in Christchurch (Wynn-Williams & Brown) from 1860; member of Canterbury Provincial Council; provincial solicitor; MHR (Member of House of Representatives) Heathcote 1882-1884 (Who's who in NZ, 1908). Married Emily Coward, daughter of Dr John William Smith Coward, on 23 Mar 1861, at St Michael's Church, Christchurch (Lyttelton times, 6 Jul 1861, p 9).
