Description: A base topographic map of part of the Mackenzie District has been used to show the perimiter of the Tekapo Military Training Area which is outlined and an adjacent area cross-hatched. The legend partly explains the area as 'Defence purposes, Tekapo Military Training Area, Airspace controls'. Both military areas lie between lakes Tekapo and Pukaki.
