Many performances of this show were given at major arts and music festivals (including the New Zealand International Arts Festival, and WOMAD Taranaki), and songs from the show formed the basis of other performances and workshops for schools. Tocker's regular accompanying musicians were Shona Laing, James Wilkinson, Jimmy Young, Denny Stanway, David Downes, Anahera Higgins and Ashley Brown. In early 2007 Mahinarangi Tocker began preparing a new show, which involved her composing music for the words of 17 New Zealand poets, which would be accompanied by 14 musicians.
