Eaton, Owen (Dr), 1909-1939

Born in Johnsonville, Wellington. Father was Rev. Clarence Eaton, a Methodist Minister. Educated at Otago Boys High School and Wellington College. In 1928 began his medical studies at Otago University. Graduated in 1933. Left for China as a Presbyterian medical missionary in 1936. Shot by Chinese bandits in 1939.
