Whitelock, Peter, 1937-

Born 6 September 1937 in Wales. History honours degree at Manchester University, then further study at Bristol, Department of Education. Arrived in New Zealand in 1962 as a secondary school teacher (English and Social Studies). Taught at Oamaru, Waitaki BHS, Queenstown District High School, Christchurch BHS. From 1974, curriculum officer with Department of Education, first with History and Social Studies and then with Horticulture. Painting in Wellington from 1990s.
