Spicer, William, 1825-1899

Builder. Born in London; at an early age he went to New York. In 1850s went to the Ballarat gold fields, and then onto the Otago in 1861. Arrived in Wellington in 1864. Husband of Matilda Spicer (d 1876). Buried at Bolton Street Cemetery, Wellington
