Description: On the recto, two pencil drawings on the page divided into two, and drawn upside down from each other. One shows the inside of a wooden building, named 'Katawhiti Hall', with two men sitting around a billy. There are pans hanging on the wall and saddles hanging on a cross beam above them. on the other half of the same side is a sketch of Mount Victoria, probably in Auckland. The scene is populated with nikau palms and tree ferns.
