Born in Cumberland, England. Daughter of William Wilson (1752-1839) and Jane Fowler (1766-1859). Married Christopher Richmond (1785-1832) in 1819. Her children were Christopher William Richmond, James Crowe Richmond, Jane Maria Richmond (who became Jane Maria Atkinson after her marriage to A S Atkinson) and Henry Robert Richmond.
