Description: Includes whimsical cartoons relating to random subjects such as shapes of ears, goldfish, cats in Wellington Zoo, the centenary of the pen-nib 1830-1930, the visit of publisher Jonathan Cape to New Zealand, Railways signs, men typing, modern dancing, motorists' hand signals, a review of 1934, vegetable gardening, Douglas Social Credit supporters' clothing, Scots College boxing championships, short or long pants, noisy cars and pneumatic drills, design of the new car number plates, abstract paintings, Wellington College caps, egg-eating contest at Ormondville, rugby and cricket matches, , middle-aged men, and many more. Also includes a Trevor Lloyd cartoon relating to the 1932-1933 budget. Also includes a programme flier for Archbishop Redwood's Diamond jubilee, Children's gathering, 28 February 1934.
