Son of Colonel Charles Lambert. Died at Tayforth, near Wanganui, in 1928 aged 79 years; member of Polynesian Society. Married to Evelyn (née White). Sheep farmer at Sherwood, Ashley Clinton, in 1891 (See Wise's Post Office Directory, 1890-1891).
