Description: Panoramic view of a large two-storeyed wooden house centre left. Return verandah downstairs with plants, some roses, climbing up the verandah posts. Bay windows on both floors to right and left of the verandah. Flat section, lawn in front of the house edged with paths and planted borders. Trimmed hedge behind the border on the right continuing at right angles around a field. Large rhododendron on the left. Palm tree to the left of the house with a glasshouse visible behind. There are three people in the picture, two women seated on the lawn, one near the palm on the left and the other in front of the house. A man is seated on steps leading up to the front door. A group standing in a hall: Sir Cecil Leys, W Easton, E Abbey Jones, T C List, Sir Henry Horton, C Stanley Smith, A M Burns, Louis Blundell. Two men standing outside a building: A B Lane and L J Berry. Persons identified on reverse by annotation, or named in typescript on accompanying sheets and envelopes.
