Description: Collection of papers comprising: - Undated letter from Sister Hobbs to G.F. Saunders in response to his questions about Wiremu Rātana and Rātana Pā. Written on letterhead from the Grand Hotel, Taumarunui. - Note from G.F. Saunders to [Morrell]. Appears to have been sent with Sister Hobb's letter. Written 9 December, 1934 in Wanganui. - One double-sided page from an 1896 publication by James Mackay titled 'Whakaaturanga o nga tikanga o te whakapuraretanga o Hauraki mo te mahinga koura / Narrative of the opening of the Hauraki district for gold mining', pages 31 and 32. Text relates to land claims in the Pakararahi block. Title supplied by Library.
