Description: British produced postcard. Shows a head and shoulders portrait of a sailor, inside a lifebuoy, as an inset at the top. Below is a steamship, and there is an inset verse at the bottom: "Thinking of you" : "Let storm and peril threaten / Let wind or battle roar / Our hearts will turn to that glad day / When we shall meet once more". Exhibited in 'Posted love; love letters from the Turnbull Library and beyond', at the National Library Gallery, 9 April - 4 July 1999. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s) on postcard..
