Description: Photographs, chiefly taken by George Thomas Watt, between 1904 and 1912. The album includes views of Wellington and environs, Hawkes Bay area, and a few in the Rotorua and Auckland areas. It also includes group portraits of family and friends, and two of children attending Roseneath School in 1905. There are several panoramamic views using two 6 x 8 images. These include views of the Basin Reserve, Kilbirnie, Napier from Colenso's Hill, Port Ahuriri from Colenso's Hill, Island Bay, the Government Buildings in Wellington, and Nelson. Scenes of interest include two views of an overturned tram in an accident in Brooklyn, May 1907; illuminated buildings on Dominion Day 26/10/1907, and on 26/10/1908; crowds at Worser Bay on Anniversary Day 22/1/1907; houses lived in by George Thomas Watt at 6 Victoria Terrace, 89 Ghuznee Street , and 13 Kensington Street; the home of Mr and Mrs Herbert Edwin Grainger "Kohatu" at 612 Gray's Road, Hastings; James Henry Coleman's residence in Selwyn Road, Napier; and properties belonging to Mr and Mrs E A J Elliott at Glencliff Station near Waipukurau, and their home "Glenelg" in Porangahau Road, Waipukurau.
