McNeur, George Hunter (Rev Dr), 1874-1953

Pioneer missionary of the South China Mission of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand which he founded with Rev Alexander Don. Worked with Chinese goldminers in Central Otago. Worked as a missionary in China ca 1901-1940. Moderator, Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, 1925-6. Husband of Margaret McNeur (Sinclair), brother of Alec, Archibald, David, William and Mary.
