Catholic bishop, editor, army chaplain. Baptised William Henry. Editor of the Roman Catholic journal "The Month" and `The Tablet' (1898). Listed in Bagnall. Wrote fairy stories under psuedonym `Lunky Lee'. Became Bishop of Auckland in 1911. See DNZB (Vol 3, 1901-1920, p101-103, C22) According to note on the back of file print for 1/2-024702 he was the `first motorist to travel on 90 mile beach....
