Grey, George, 1778-1812

Father of Sir George Grey (1812-1898). Lieutenant-Colonel Grey was killed at Badajoz, Spain, fighting in the Duke of Wellington's army during the Napoleonic Wars, 8 days before the birth of his son. His wife was Elizabeth Anne Vignoles of Ireland.
