Description: Letter by A G J Malin[?], Supply and Transport, Waiouru M.C. dated 15 Nov 1942 addressed to E G Cowell of Auckland. Letter discusses an insurance policy, birth certificate and will, and that the latter has been witnessed by a Reverend M G Sullivan, Chaplain to the Forces, and a fellow NZTS staff member named as R Harrison. Names mentioned in conjunction with the recipient are a Dr Kirkwood and a Mrs Cowell. Letter discusses philatelic questions with regards to printing flaws and whether Full Face Queens offered at half catalogue value might be a good investment. (Full Face Queens is in reference to the first postage stamp issue of New Zealand featuring a portrait of Queen Victoria in use from 1855 onwards).
