Ripple (Ship)

Steamer of 413 tons gross, built at Hardinxveld, Holland, by Van Vliet & Co, in 1905. Purchased by Canterbury Steam Shipping Co. Ltd, she was used on the Chatham Islands run from March 1906 until 1910, when she was sold to Richardson & Co of Napier. She was used in the Wellington - East Coast wool and produce trade until she sank with the loss of all hands of Cape Palliser Light on 6 August 1924.
