Puaha, Ria, active 1840s-1860s

Ngati Toa tribe Porirua. Ngati Te Maunu, Ngati Kahutaiki hapu. Ria was the daughter of Te Peehi Kupe and his second wife Te Purewa, and half sister of Te Hiko-o-te-rangi. She was briefly married to a European whaler and later married to Rawiri Puaha (Ngati Toa). Their only surviving child was Raiha Prosser Puaha.
