Lived at Masterton; married Erihapeti (Elizabeth), daughter of Retimana Te Korou; from Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairarapa and Rangitane and was a correspondent to Donald McLean. Baptised by William Colenso in 1848 with his wife and family. Died in Apr 1886 (Wairarapa daily times, 1 May 1886, p 2).
