Priestley, Donald, 1907-1978

Teacher, actor, theatrical producer; with the Correspondence School; later was headmaster of Wellington Technical College. During World War II read the news on radio. As an actor worked and produced for Repertory. Producer for the Thespians group in late 1940s. With his wife Allona (Tim) Priestley founded Drama Christi, a dramatic group at Taranaki Street Wesleyan Church, Wellington. Father of Jenny Pattrick (née Priestley), Dinah Priestley, and Nigel Priestley
