Allen, Jock, 1905?-1975

President of the New Zealand Ex Libris Society Auckland Branch 1948-1949. Husband of Audrey. He commissioned two bookplates from Ronald Holloway in 1937. He was also an amateur actor with Grafton Theatre, and a president and life member of the Parnell Lawn Tennis Club (See "Biographical journeys; 100 favourite bookplates", by Ian Thwaites. Auckland 2009).
