Born at Bodmin, Cornwall, daughter of Paul and Tabitha Inch, arrived in New Plymouth as a child on board the 'William Bryan', Mar 1841. Wrote her reminiscences in 1923 when she was 92. Died at Waitara. Married Henry Henson Wood in 1845. Mother of Henry Thomas Wood (1847-1929), and grandmother of Henry Alfred Wood (1873-1956).
