Description: Depicts six scenes in which Minhinnick tries to draw a cartoon about a 'Soil bank', before giving up and going to the pub. After receiving a phone call from his editor asking him to draw a soil bank, Minhinnick sends the office boy to find out first what a soil bank is and then "what happens if you get a credit squeeze in a soil bank". After retiring to the pub, Minhinnick addresses the reader with a toast: "Here's mud in your eye!". Refers to the Soil Bank Act passed in the United States in 1956.
