Contains both black and white and colour prints developed by Wellington Photographic Supplies and Amcal Chemist Newtown in five separate photo wallets. Prints include: - Las Vegas, including Hard Rock Cafe. - Cleveland family scenes including Les and Mary Cleveland at different locations with various family members including with sons Edward and Peter, and with Peter's family (including his children Maxwell and Madeline and wide Donna). - Rural scenes and buildings is South Island towns including the Park Royal in Queenstown, McDougall's Saddlery, Railway Hotel in Invercargill, and Fleming's Creamoata Mill in Gore. - Photographs of buildings, people, and roadside attractions (planes, cars, carts) on the West Coast, including Hokitika and Haast. Also tree root in the back of a lorry. - Dunedin, including interior of Donaghys Foyer at Dunedin Public Art Gallery including portraits of an unidentified bride and groom and their wedding party, retail displays, an unidentified cafe, the explosives store on Cumberland Street, Robert Burns statue, Prince of Wales Hotel, and Passchendaele memorial plaque at railway station. Description: Proof chromolithographic print probably intended for an advertisement for Creamoata breakfast cereal, shows a smiling dark-haired boy eating a bowl of steaming porridge. Date is uncertain. The image differs from the illustrative Sergeant Dan character created in 1915. And Dan is shown as dark-haired, in contrast to the image most commonly seen in the 1930s. Like other 1930s images, the image is realistic, but appears an older style than 1930s. Quantity: 1 colour art print(s). Physical Description: Chromolithograph proof print, on sheet approximately 260 x 260 mm. Provenance: Previously part of the Ferrymead Printing Society's collection, as shown by stamp on verso.
