Sawyer, Edward Lyddell, 1856-1927

Photographer, Regent St, and Maida Vale (Source: A Directory of London Photographers 1841-1908. From age 16 worked as a photographer in his father's business in Newcastle and its branches. Set up his own photograph business in Newcastle in 1885 and was joined by his two brothers. Worked in Regent Street, London in partnership, Sawyer and Lankester, before setting up his own portrait studio at 230 Regent Street Westminster in 1895, also called The Dudley Studio.
