First husband of Nola Luxford. New Zealander who fought in the First World War and was awarded the Military Cross. They married in 1919 and settled in Los Angeles. They were divorced in 1927 and Maurice Luxford continued to reside in California and was active in golfing circles.

Description: Poster shows an arrangement of text advertising a dramatic performance. Cast members included Vesey O'Davoren, Raymond Jarecki, Naomi Bailey, Helene Willis, Julie Leonard, Nola Luxford, Maurice Luxford and others. An "atmospheric prologue" was provided by Alice and Granville Robertson, and there was incidental music by a concert orchestra. The play and prologue were directed by Lionel Belmore.
