This album of unidentified photographic prints relates to John Buchanan (1819-1892) and the Buchanan family of Elsthorpe estate, Napier. Contains studio portraits of John Buchanan and various family members as adults and as children taken during the family's residence in Sydney, Australia, and in New Zealand.
