Youngest son of Frank Alexander Wilson and Erica Richmond Fell. Educated at Nelson College then Victoria University College. Achieved MA in Education, 1947, MA in Philosophy, 1948. Left New Zealand in 1951 for England. Attended Trinity College of Music, London, 1952-1955. Married Jean in 1956 and had 2 daughters, born 1960 and 1963. Taught at a primary school then at S.Mark and S.John's College of Education, Chelsea. Lastly at Goldsmith'a College, University of London, retiring in 1985 to pursue poetry. Patrick Wilson was a poet and a teacher. He was educated at Nelson College then at Victoria University of Wellington. He recieved an MA in Education and also Philosophy. Awarded in 1953, his doctorate thesis was devoted to William Blake's poetry. In 1951 he moved to England where he taught philosophy of education at various universities. During this time he wrote several articles and fictional stories for children, many of them published in School Journal issues.
