In the middle is Eruera (Ted) Nia, who was a Fine Arts student and designed the poster. The woman in the background is artist Kura Te Waru-Rewiri (Ngapuhi). At the left is Tame Iti and at the right is law student Steve Watene (Watson). The carvings in the background are from Te Rehua marae, Christchurch (Information from Kura Te Waru-Rewiri, August 2004).
