Description: Letters by Frank Felix Reid to his family from the period of his service during the First World War. Addressed mostly to his family, but some more specifically to either his mother or father. Includes small number of incoming letters from relatives of military personnel who served under his command. Collection includes one telegram, received at Eketahuna, and one newspaper. Source of title - Supplied by Library Frank Felix Reid (Army Registration No. WWI 37220), served in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force as Second Lieutenant with the Royal Field Artillery from 3 June to 20 September 1915 in England, and from 21 September 1915 to 10 March 1916 in France. He served with the New Zealand Field Artillery from 16 March to 31 May 1916 in England and 31 May 1916 to September 1918 in France.
